7/18 - Family Fun Day, Acton

Fifteenth Annual Family Fun Day. Acton Family Network, Great Hill Field, School St., Acton. (Behind South Acton Fire Station). 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Music, games, arts & crafts, moon bounces, bubbles, bake sale and much more. The Pocket Lady with all her pockets full of prizes might also make an appearance. To top it all off, head over to the fire station to wash the fire truck. actonfamily.org
Open to the public. FREE for all adults, AFN members, and children under 1. Non-members pay $3 per child/$10 per family maximum. Tickets are sold for various activities and the raffle.

7/4 - demo of remote control model planes - sudbury

On July 4, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Charles River Radio Controllers will give a demonstration of a variety of remote-controlled model airplanes at Davis Field on Rte. 117 in Sudbury.
Acrobatic planes, flying wings, electric-powered sailplane helicopters, scale planes and unpowered gliders will demonstrate.
